Our family-run Gasthof Zur Künstleralm is located in the beautiful Kaprun Valley, 4.5 km outside the village centre, with the stop of the free ski bus directly outside our door. The Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area is 1.2 km away, the Maiskogel family ski area 2.5 km, and the Schmittenhöhe 10 km. The Pinzgau cross-country ski run can be reached with the free ski bus. The owner Robert and chef Ruppi serve a rich breakfast buffet and a varied 4-course dinner with a choice of meals. Once a week there is a farmers' buffet, an Italian buffet and a fondue evening. Every afternoon (except Saturday) the use of the sauna and the new infrared cabin is free of charge. The hotel features a separate, non-smoking breakfast room, a bar, a restaurant and a cosy ski lounge with an open fireplace.
In 1929 the current owner's grandfather built the 'Künstleralm', which was formerly called 'Limberg-Wüstlau' and later became the restaurant 'Zum Joggl'.
